Wayne Allen, aka samX, a father of 2, Dylan & Thomas (aged 10 & 8) wrote and recorded  ‘It’s Christmas Time’ last year during the Christmas holiday period in France. A video was filmed following the first snowfall of the season at a ski resort in the Pyrenees and in just 3 weeks during December 2012 the clip received over 250,000 views on YouTube in 102 different countries, as well as receiving world wide radio airplay via internet based radio pluggers.

The song recreates the feel-good factor of classic Christmas songs in the vein of Slade and Wizzard, with the boys singing along on the chorus. The seasonal video captures the innocent, happy, fun of childhood with the kids and their friends dancing and having fun in front of the camera, as well as footage filmed via Skype of family and friends wishing season’s greetings.

Allen explained ‘it’s a very simple song and it was just a bit of fun, I couldn’t believe how much people took to it. Then the video started to go viral, with the views doubling almost every day. Of course it all stopped on Boxing Day, but I thought why not re-release it again this year’.

Last year ‘It’s Christmas Time’ was playlisted on 9 US radio stations as well as 2 in Australia and others in the UK, France, Italy, Canada and even S. America. The video was viewed in 102 different countries.
